Loose Weight Build Muscle - Nutrition and Supplements

Often the topic of Weight Loose Supplements comes up when discussing how to loose weight and gain muscle. There are so many nutritional supplements on the market these days that it's wise to exercise a bit of healthy skepticism.

Most of the pills you might consider getting are designed to speed up your metabolism using caffeine. It sure does! If you've taken these before, you'll know what I mean! Just remember that there are other ways to stimulate your body to burn fat faster. Caffeine is not so good for your body so make sure you don't use it too often to help you train. There are some benefits, like increased short term strength and energy, but in the long term it will ruin your body and nervous system. Try High Intensity Interval Training instead. It only takes 15 minutes to get your body going faster than any cup of coffee can!

Just remember that the most important thing is to eat a clean diet. This is something the fitness community is often talking about, and it's a good way to start getting your body going in the right direction. It basically means that you should be eating nutrient dense fruit and vegetables.

What that means is simply giving your body fresh and nutritious foods as fuel so that it can do it's job effectively. Let's face it, we all know that eating things like Kentucky Fried Chicken, or McDonald's is not going to be the best source of quality vitamins and minerals. So what to eat instead? What makes up a "clean" diet?

Water... the mirical drink!

Water is not a food, I know. But it does make up about 80% of your body's mass. It's important, real important. Water will help you loose weight and build muscle. Water cleans out the toxins, and gives your body the freedom to put back the nutrition that the toxin's have taken out. Water will also help eliminate the fat from your body by cleaning out your digestive tract and liver. Drink water often. About 8 glasses a day. And remember, if you're thirsty, you're already de hydrated.

Eat your vegetables! Yep, your mother was right. Fresh fruits and vegetables help your body speed up by providing easily accessable nutrients so your muscles will grow faster and stronger. Your body will burn fat faster too because of the increased muscle mass. When your metabolism is burning fat faster, you'll feel more energetic and the vitamins will make all the difference in your goal to loose weight and build muscle.

You need protein so re-build muscle cells. Protein has a few other great benefits that will also help you loose weight while you gain muscle. Protein can help you loose weight because it acts as an appetite suppressant. The best place to get your protein is from lean meats like chicken and fish, but it's also a good idea to get your hands on a quality protein supplement. It's probably one of the only supplements I'd recommend for anyone who wants to loose weight and build muscle. Whey (or soy) protein is quickly digestible and can give your body what it needs most directly after a workout.

Your meals should be about 2-3 hours apart, and you ideally should eat about 5-7 times a day. They should be small meals, but high in protein and essential nutrients. You carbohydrate supply should be from fruits and vegies, and you can use protein snacks like nuts, or protein bars / shakes to keep your cravings at bay while you go through your day. - 15266
