Enjoy the Sights in Malaga

Malaga is found in the Costa del Sol and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. There is a lot of history and interesting things to look at in this area. It doesn't matter where you go you will quickly come across many ruins and all sorts of artifacts which will take you back in time to remember. The best thing to remember is that you are going to be able to find some amazing and interesting cultures on your trip. The night life is amazing.

Taking a stroll around Malaga

One of the most beautiful monuments to visit in Malaga is El Alcazaba. This was the home of many kings since the 11th century, there are many amazingly beautiful gardens which have many fountains. Today this building is home to the archaeological museum which has a number of interesting artifacts from ancient times.

The cathedral in the city was created by the catholic kings. It is built on the site which used to be a mosque. It took a very long time to build, from 1529 until 1782, one of the towers of the cathedral still isn't completed because the project ran out of money. There are many different details which add to the importance of this building. Because it was built over such a long period of time there are a number of different architectural features. There is an elegant faade, and beautiful wooden seating.

There are lots of different museums in and around Malaga which are worth checking out. You should visit some of these museums, and also check out the churches. One of the most important places to visit is the home where Pablo Picasso was born, this house is located in a square known as Plaza de la Merced.

Finding something new in Malaga

Malaga is a very beautiful and happy city which is great fun to look around. Everyone in Malaga is very friendly and helpful. Everyone will start to get excited when it comes to special festivals such as Epiphany and the Easter parades.

During the third week in August they hold a Flamenco Fair which is a great experience to watch. You don't actually have to wait until these special occasions to feel the spirit of these events.

If you visit the old fishermen's area of the village then you will find an amazing boardwalk which has lots of fantastic restaurants and pubs which are all great places for you to eat. These locations are also very popular with the locals, which mean that you get to spend some time with the locals singing traditional flamenco songs.

When we go on holiday it is important to spend time with the locals, otherwise there is no point leaving your home country. The weather and the locals are what makes your holiday perfect. - 15266
