Lose weight with yoga program!

Obesity is not just a problem for the USA, it is not just limited to other developed countries either - it is a problem that has spread throughout the globe. With yoga, comes an effective methodology to lose weight and with greater percentage of success.

Some exercises that are highly beneficial for reduction of fat from stomach are covered in yoga. Remember, you should not attempt any of these on your own unless you have been shown and guided by a certified yoga master or guru.

Power Yoga- lie on your stomach and keep your hands right under your shoulders. Push your upper body backwards using only the back muscles not your hands. In case you find it difficult to ignore the hands, try keeping them over the hips.

[You can also lie down on your stomach. Catch your ankles by bending your knees and then push outwards (up) to make your body look like a bow.]

As with all other exercises, yoga too needs to be practiced on a daily basis regularly, preferably outdoors, at the crack of the dawn.

Obese individuals have many features which make them unique. They love to eat all the time. Many of them just can't satisfy the hunger pangs. Some individuals rush to eat their food and never even chew the food down. A common characteristic of these individuals is that they love to sit and never exercise.

A leading American pediatric endocrinologist says one of the best, and easiest, ways parents and their children can avoid the serious health consequences of obesity is by drinking at least six to eight glasses of water each day.
